Guilt Free Cherry Oat Cookies Recipe

Need to indulge without cheating on your diet?  This is a great cookie that can be made so quick you will never have to resort to digging through your cabinet for a sweet treat.  Made from just a couple ingredients, these cookies will make you think you are cheating.

Guilt Free Cherry Cookies

Prep time 5 minutes
Cook time 15 minutes
Total time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Overripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Oats (quick works best, but regular ok too)
  • 1/2 cup Dried Cherries (chopped)

Optional

  • 1/2 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Note

Tastes best served warm. Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container or Ziploc bag.

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Mash bananas. Stir in oats, cherries and chocolate chips (optional).
Step 3
Drop onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 4
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
