Vanilla Granola Recipe

A simple homemade Vanilla Granola Recipe that takes little effort and will put a zing to your morning yogurt. Or, just eat it as a snack. Either way, this is a great way to make your own granola at home.

Vanilla Granola

Ingredients

  • 4 cups original rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Step 2
Prepare cookie sheet by either greasing it or covering with parchment paper
Step 3
Set oats into a large heat proof bowl and set aside. Combine Vegetable Oil, Honey, coconut sugar, salt and cinnamon. Bring to simmer over medium heat. Simmer for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Remove from heat and stir in Vanilla Extract. Immediately pour over oat mixture. Stir well.Spread granola onto baking sheet. Press down with spatula. Bake 20 -- 30 minutes or until golden brown. Do not stir if you want chunky granola!
