Sometimes simple is better. In this case, this Simply Delicious Shrimp Recipe really is better than other complicated over seasoned shrimp recipes. It can be an appetizer or main dish. Easy to make for large crowds. Can be served warm or hot. Simply delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1lb shrimp (medium, peeled, deveiened)
  • .5 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Dry Vermouth (or dry white wine)

Optional

  • French Bagette

Note

You can serve this with Cherri's Spicy Cocktail Sauce.

Directions

Step 1
In saute pan, heat butter and green onions.

When butter is melted, add shrimp and old bay. Cook on medium-high heat for about 1-2 minutes. Shrimp will be about 1/2 cooked.

Add Vermouth and cook until shrimp is pink. Do not overcook the shrimp. Once it is no longer transluscent and is pink, it is done.

Do not overcook! Serve it hot or refrigerate and serve it cold. Works delicious either way.
Step 2
Optionally, you can toast some French baguette slices and serve on top of the baguette as a hot appetizer. Beautiful.
