Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.

Step 2

Whisk the discard and milk until well blended. Mix in the butter. Then mix in the flour with a spatula. Lightly mix and knead until it comes together. Don't over mix.

Step 3

Put on a well floured board and form into a rectangle that is about 1/2 to 1 inch thick. Do not do too much to it, just simply form quickly into a rectangle. Cut into squares.

Step 4

CHOICE 1: BAKE
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place in a greased glass baking pan. Once oven is preheated, bake for 15 minutes, until the biscuits are at 205 degrees.. Remove from oven and brush with butter. Serve while hot.

Step 5

CHOICE 2: PAN FRY
Heat pan on medium. Add a thin layer of oil and heat until oil is hot. Fry in the oil and flip when lightly browned. Serve while hot.
