Gram Do’s Spiced Nut Mix

This is a great homemade spiced nut mix to bring to your Super Bowl Party. Easy, yet better than buying some pre-spiced nuts. Also great to give as gifts for the holidays.

Gram Do’s Spiced Nut Mix

Ingredients

2 Egg Whites 2 Egg Whites
2 teaspoons Water 2 teaspoon Water
24oz Salted Peanuts 24 oz Salted Peanuts
1 cup Whole Blanched Almonds 1 cup Whole Blanched Almonds
1 cup Walnut Halves 1 cup Walnut Halves
1 1/3 cup Sugar 1 1/3 cup Sugar
3 tablespoons Pumpkin Pie Spice 3 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
3/4 teaspoons Salt 3/4 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Raisins 1 cup Raisins

Directions

Step 1

In mixing bowl, beat egg whites with water until frothy.

Step 2

Add nuts and stir gently to coat.

Step 3

Combine sugar, pie spice and salt; add to nut mixture and stir gently to coat.

Step 4

Fold in raisins.

Step 5

Spread into 2 greased 15x10 inch baking pans and bake uncovered for 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool
