Tired of boring white rice? Looking for something to do with your rice? A perfect accompaniment to a roast, this rice is simple and is made with just a few ingredients. Still simple enough that your picky kids will eat it, but with just enough garlic to make your tastebuds say “yeah”!
In large pan, heat garlic olive oil and butter until butter is melted.
Add basmati rice and cook until rice is lightly toasted.
Add the garlic, parsley, chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and keep covered for 5-10 minutes. Fluff and serve.
