Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Butter (softened)
- 3/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar (firmly packed)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 cups Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels (12-oz pkg)
- 1 cup Nuts (chopped, optional)
Directions
Step 1 | |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. | |

In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside | |

In a mixer, beat together butter, vanilla, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat until creamy and fluffy. | |

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat for a couple a minute or two until fluffy. | |

Slowly add the flour and mix until fully incorporated. | |

Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts (optional). | |

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. | |

Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown (do not overcook or the cookies will get dry and hard). Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, and then remove and place on wire racks to cool. Serve warm with a cold glass of MILK. |
