This is a wonderful dressing to use on any green salad or even as a marinade or baste for BBQ chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2-3 teaspoons Seasoned Salt (more or less to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Small White Onion (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cilantro Paste (or 2 Tbl finely chopped fresh cilantro)
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger (finely minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2/3 cups Good Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (garlic flavored is best)

Directions

Step 1
Whisk together all ingredients except olive oil. While whisking, slowly add olive oil, whisking continuously. Serve with salad or as a marinade for chicken or pork.

I love making my own salad dressings. Usually I keep them very simple, but this recipe is one that I made up one night for our family dinners. I took a couple of recipes that looked good on Pinterest and just blended them together to make a delicious and complex salad dressing.

Enjoy!
