Stewed Prunes

Ingredients
- Prunes
- Thinly sliced lemons with rind
- Water

Place the prunes and thinly sliced lemons in a small saucepan. Be sure to make the lemons super thin so that they will be edible when the prunes are ready. Add just enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the prunes are plump and the water is reduced to a syrup. Serve warm. |
