Looking for a healthy and high energy snack? These Brownie Energy bites are packed with healthy raw ingredients and are perfect when you are craving chocolate. And the best part? They are vegan, raw and clean!
Brownie Energy Bites (Vegan)
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw walnuts
- 1 1/4 cup pitted dried dates
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract ((optional))
- 1/8 teaspoon salt ((optional))
Directions
Step 1 | |
Place the dates, walnuts and cocoa in a food processor and process until the mixture is fully broken down and evenly mixed together. This will take about 1-2 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and process again until all uniform in size, about 1-2 more minutes. | |

Form into balls, squeezing the mixture tight to bind together. Place on parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Can store on the counter or refrigerator for up to one week. |
I gotta get real though, these really aren’t brownies. The flavor and texture is close enough that you can enjoy them day or night without feeling guilty.
