Easy Beefy Pasta Recipe
Using that jar pasta sauce and turning it into something a little more.
Easy Beefy Pasta
Ingredients
- 1lb Beef (chopped or lean ground)
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 cup Carrots (Shredded)
- 1/2 cup Red Wine
- 1 jar Tomato Sauce (Francesco Rinaldi Tomato, Garlic & Onion Sauce)
- 1lb Pasta (Fettucini)
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese (for topping)
Directions
Step 1

Put a pot of water to boil for the pasta. |
Step 2

Mix together beef with nutmeg, garlic salt, italian seasoning, pepper and cayenne pepper. |
Step 3

In large deep skillet, heat oil. Cook beef on high until beef is browned. |
Step 4

Add Carrots and Red Wine. Cook for 1-2 minutes to let the wine reduce in half. |
Step 5

 Add the tomato sauce. Heat until bubbly. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until your pasta is ready. |
Step 6
|
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain but do not rinse. |
Step 7
|
Toss pasta with sauce. Serve with Parmesan Cheese. |
