Easy Beefy Pasta Recipe

Using that jar pasta sauce and turning it into something a little more.

Easy Beefy Pasta


  • 1lb Beef (chopped or lean ground)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Carrots (Shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Red Wine
  • 1 jar Tomato Sauce (Francesco Rinaldi Tomato, Garlic & Onion Sauce)
  • 1lb Pasta (Fettucini)
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese (for topping)


Step 1
Put a pot of water to boil for the pasta.
Step 2
Mix together beef with nutmeg, garlic salt, italian seasoning, pepper and cayenne pepper.
Step 3
In large deep skillet, heat oil. Cook beef on high until beef is browned.
Step 4
Add Carrots and Red Wine. Cook for 1-2 minutes to let the wine reduce in half.
Step 5
Pasta sauce
Add the tomato sauce. Heat until bubbly. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until your pasta is ready.
Step 6
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain but do not rinse.
Step 7
Toss pasta with sauce. Serve with Parmesan Cheese.
