The hype on detox waters, infused waters, etc. is almost overwhelming. Most of the water recipes are a little weird for me. Some fruits just don’t work well with water. But, Pineapple is hands down my favorite flavor infusion for water.

Ingredients
- 1 pint Pineapple leftovers (core, etc)
- 1 Pitcher Water
Directions
Step 1 | |
To infuse your water with pineapple, just take your leftover pineapple parts (the core, skin*, etc) and place in a pitcher of water. Refrigerate for about 2 hours. Strain and drink! A healthy water which acts as an anti-inflamatory, aids in digestion, helps weight loss, and is just plain refreshing. *Be sure to wash the pineapple thoroughly if you are using the pineapple skin. |
Pineapples are proven effective as:
-
Anti-Inflamatory
-
Aids in digestion
-
Helps you lose weight
But, even without those added benefits, pineapple infused water is just plain delicious. And, it’s a perfect way to use all that pineapple that usually just gets thrown away. Use just the core if you have a small pitcher, or use the skin too. If using the skin, be sure to strain it do remove any sharp bits.
Enjoy!

PLEASE fix your spelling. Most people want to “lose” weight, not set it free (or “loose” it).
