Justin’s Stewed Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 apples (sliced and cored)

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Make the cinnamon sugar by mixing together 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Set aside | |
Stewing | |

Bring water, vinegar sugar and cinnamon to a boil and boil on medium heat for 1 minute. Add cut up apples and cook for 3 minutes, covered. | |
Dusting | |
Step 3 | |
Remove apples, drain and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Rest on parchment paper for 1 minute to cool. Serve warm for best flavor. |
