This is a beautiful appetizer or side dish that can be prepared in advance. The prosciutto and asparagus pair well together and make a wonderful dish.
Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagues (cleaned and trimmed)
- 1/2 lemon
- 4oz proscuitto
- fresh ground sea salt & pepper
Note
If you want to make it less work, you can put 2-3 asparagus spears together before wrapping in the proscuitto.

Step 1 | |
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the asparagus and cook for 45 seconds. The water may not yet come to a boil, that's ok. Remove from the water and immediately add the juice from the lemon and fresh ground salt/pepper. Let the asparagus cool. | |
Step 2 | |
For each prosciutto, you can wrap about 3-4 asparagus spears (depending on the size of the asparagus and the prosciutto). Wrap enough prosciutto on each asparagus. Serve room temperature, or refrigerate and serve chilled. | |

If you want to make it less work, you can put 2-3 asparagus spears together. |
