Spanish Leftover Rice Recipe

Leftover recipes are the best and this spanish rice recipe takes less than 10 minutes to make. Easy, delicious and versatile.

You can choose to add yellow onions, green bell peppers, green onions or other vegetables to this dish if you prefer. If choosing to do so, I’d suggest sautéing the vegetables in the oil before adding the rice. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt (to taste)

  • 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cilantro Paste (or 1/4 bunch chopped fresh cilantro)

Note

*I used brown rice for this dish (pictured).

Directions

Step 1
Heat oil in large pan. Add rice and take a minute to break up the rice. Add the remaining ingredients, mixing into the rice. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until rice is piping hot and the tomato sauce and spices are well incorporated.
