Asparagus is in season and the time is now to bring out the pan and cook them up. These asparagus have a Chinese flair and are great for your Chinese banquet, of course. But, they are also a perfect side dish to your BBQ.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch Asparagus (cleaned and trimmed)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Light Soy Sauce
Directions
Step 1 | |
Heat on high in a medium sized pan (needs to be large enough for the asparagus to lay flat). Add the olive oil once the pan is hot. | |

Lay down the asparagus into the pan and cook for about 3 minutes, keeping the asparagus moving so that it doesn't burn. | |
Step 3 | |
Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Coat all the asparagus with the sauce. | |
Step 4 | |
Continue to cook on high for another 2-3 minutes, moving the asparagus frequently to keep them from burning. | |
Step 5 | |
Remove from heat and serve. |
