Ingredients
- 3/4-1 cups Dried Dark Cherries
- 2 cups Red Wine (cheap works great)

- 3 Whole Allspice

Note
Serve over ice cream, hot fudge pie, cheesecake, or ... the possibilities are endless.
Directions
Step 1 | |
Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the wine is reduced to a thick sauce. This will take some time, so be patient. Notice how the cherries are plumped up and the sauce is thick and syrupy, that's what you are looking for. Remove from heat when done and remove the spices. |

My sister SuZ loves to cook and create in the kitchen. This is one of those simple recipes that she has created yet is so decadent. Just a little drizzle on top of your ice cream and it is transformed into a dessert you would get at a fine dining establishment.
If I can get more recipes from my sis, I will so that you can see how amazing she is in the kitchen. But, this is a quick glimpse into her culinary skills.
