Crab Sushi Rice Bake Recipe

Crab Sushi Rice Bake is Hawaiian inspired and is a delicious appetizer to serve at your next party.

A simple, fast, and easy way to make a sushi dish that is perfect for your next party or potluck.

Ingredients

Bake

  • 5 cups Fresh Hot Cooked Rice (about 2 cups uncooked rice)
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Furikaki Rice Seasoning
  • 1lb Blue Crab (Phillips or Chicken of the Sea)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon Black Sesame Seeds

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Seasoned Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon White Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Put it together

  • 1 packet Toasted Seaweed (cut in half)

Directions

Bake
Step 1
Cook rice and let rest covered for 5 minutes. Remove from rice cooker and place in a non-metal bowl. Mix with seasoned rice wine vinegar. Spread out in a 9x13 inch pan.
Step 2
Add Furiyaki ice seasoning
Sprinkle the Furikake Rice Seasoning on top of the rice.
Step 3
Mix crab with mayo
Mix together drained blue crab and mayonnaise. Spread on top of the rice.
Step 4
Add sesame seeds & bake
Sprinkle on 1 Tbl sesame seeds and 1/2 Tbl black sesame seeds.
Step 5
Bake at 350 degrees
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Sauce
Step 6
Sauce
Mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, seasoned rice vinegar, sugar, and 1/2 Tbl sesame seeds. This is your sauce.
Put it together
Step 7
Appetizer yum!
Take seaweed, place crab on it, and add the soy sauce mixture. Wrap & EAT!
