After making my sister’s Santa Maria Tri Tip, I wound up with a bit of the spice rub left over. I had planned on making some ribs the next day and I just knew it would work. And not only did it work, the ribs are my husband’s favorite now.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Coarse Salt
- 2 tablespoons Coarse Black Pepper
- 3/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 3/4 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 3/4 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- 3/4 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 cup Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 Pork Spare Rib
- 1/2-3/4 cup Honey
- 2 Large Heavy Duty Tinfoil Sheets
