Santa Maria Smoked Pork Chops Recipe

Santa Maria Smoked Pork Chops Recipe

If you are looking for an easy pork chop recipe where the pork chops are a little spicy, super flavorful, and tender like chicken, this Santa Maria Smoked Pork Chops is the recipe to try.

Santa Maria Smoked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 Pork Chops (bone-in)
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin

Directions

Step 1
Mix spices together and then generously sprinkle mixed spices over pork chops. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Step 2
Smoke for 2 hours at 225 degrees.
Step 3
Remove from smoker and wrap with tin foil. Place in a 180 degree warm oven for 30-60 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.

I’ve been experimenting with my Santa Maria spice rub and learning what works and what doesn’t (so far I haven’t found anything that doesn’t work). This recipe was modeled after the Santa Maria Tri Tip Recipe and turned out just as delicious.

And do what I do and make a big batch of the spice mixture so all you have to do is sprinkle and smoke.

Enjoy!
